Grassroots are currently working on a number of software updates we and many other societies use for recording pedigree flocks.

There will be a new look Grassroots Online Registry which replaces the old Pedweb, and will be accessed by the same link on the Society webpage and no changes to your online login and password.

This gives access to the whole Society database and allows to “Manage Your Animal Records”

It is planned for Beltex to go live with the Online Registry on Fri 19 March, so please be patient if you are unable to access while the changes take place.

And at the same time breeders will be able to download the Grassroots Mobile App – all your animal details in your pocket, free for the first month then £1.99 per month or £14.99 for the year. Download the Grassroots Systems Mobile App from the App Store or Google Playstore. Create an App User Name(must be at least 8 characters) and your own password. Then sync the details for all the animals you own using your normal member login and password. If you keep other Grassroots breeds, they can be added to the same copy of the App.

From within the App you can: add images for your own use or to appear in the Online Registry, add notes – for individual animals or groups, including mating records, or reminders.

Report changes direct to the registry “on the go”
Sales – keep a list of all your buyers

Births – apply to notify and register

Deaths – and sales for meat

Link photos – for your own use or to appear in the Online Registry
