Why Join?
You become part of the Beltex family of breeders
Members support the work undertaken by the Society including promoting the breed in their area and nationally in keeping the Beltex at the forefront as one of the leading terminal sires in the UK
Membership provides entitlement for breeders to enter official society and club sales held at a wide range of markets across the UK and enter Beltex breed classes at agricultural shows up and down the country
Members receive the following publications each year:
- The Society Year Book which looks back at the previous year’s shows, sales and events along with flock adverts
- Beltex Bulletin – Society newsletter with regular updates from the Council – three issues a year
- Members Handbook
Regional clubs across the UK form a business and social hub for Beltex breeders, giving members the opportunity to mix and socialise with fellow breeders and others with an interest in the breed.
Voting Rights
Fully paid up members may vote at Annual General meetings and are eligible for nomination to serve on the Society Council
Flock Registration & Annual Membership
A Joining fee of £30 and Annual membership is £35 is required for registration of a new flock. Members choose their flock prefix and three flock letters if the prefix and flock letters have previously been used or in use they will not be allowed. All new applications are ratified by Council. Annual Membership is due by the 31 May in each year.
