Royal Ulster Beef & Lamb Championship

Tuesday 23rd November 2021

A pair of three-quarter Beltex lambs landed the Supreme Champion ticket at the Royal Ulster Beef and Lamb Championship on 23 November for Andrew McCutcheon and son, Jamie.

The duo, which headed up the lightweight class, are sired by the Culsh Elvis ram bought at the Carlisle Premier in 2020 and bred from Beltex cross ewes.

Jamie also led the Young Farmers class with a similarly-bred pair while Gary Beacom won the heavyweight Beltex class.
