The Christmas Cracker Sale of females at Kivells’ Exeter centre saw a cracking trade for Beltex females which topped the pedigree entry at 580gns for a cracking ewe lamb named Fingle Evita from Louise Elworthy. Sired by The Bare Boy and out of the home-bred Fingle Armarni, this January-born entry was first at Devon County, Mid Devon and Yealmpton shows.

Beltex shearling ewes topped at 550gns for Maundaown Dolly, a Glantre Arnold daughter from Margaret Heard who sold others to 500gns and 350gns.
