A small offering of Beltex females peaked at 350gns at the South West Beltex Club’s sale which took place at Kivells’ Exeter centre as part of the Christmas Cracker sale on Friday, 16 December.

Leading the way was John and Gillian’s Lamberhurst Fantastic, a 2020-born Muirton Expression daughter from the flock near Wheddon Cross, Minehead. Bred from the Northern Beltex Tsunami-sired Lamberhurst What A Beauty, she sold to Matt and Vicky Smith and Jess Maynard for their Columbpark Flock near Thelbridge, Crediton, having been served by Godor Hercules.

The Howiesons received a further 300gns from Graham Powlesland of the Norleigh Barton Flock, Hatherleigh, for Lamberhurst Gemma which again sold served by Godor Hercules. Her pedigree features Stonedge Extra Muscle on to Talewater Tiffany, an Airyolland Sultan daughter.
